What is the quest-tour in Djurgården?Royal Djurgården is the first world’s national park located right in the heart of Stockholm. For centuries, it has been a favorite place for the Royal family, Swedish people, and Stockholm’s guests to spend their leisure time and to explore the unique atmosphere of the Scandinavian capital. During the quest-tour you will be assisted around the park by one of our professional local tour guides and our animating team who organize interesting and fun tasks and challenges that you will have to go through on your way. You will learn about Djurgården’s and Stockholm’s history, its museums and interesting sites, about Swedish flora and fauna, Swedes’ ancient and contemporary life-styles and the culture of the region. How long does it last?
The City Quest-Tour Djurgården lasts for about 3 hours, including lunch break in one of the island’s restaurants of your choice. You can also bring your lunch box from the ship or let us know and we will prepare some snacks for you for a break, or what we call “fika” in Sweden. Where do we meet?
Your guide will meet you by the public ferry that will take you from the city center to the Djurgården (you will get detailed information with your confirmation voucher). How many people can participate in a quest tour? Can children participate? Is this quest accessible for wheelchair persons?
There is no special limit on the number of people. If you party is bigger than 6 people, we will break it into competing teams to make the quest even more fun! Children of all ages and wheelchair quests are welcome. Please, let us know how many you are in your company and whether you have any special needs for your party and we will adjust the route and quest tasks for you!
