Hermitage Museum

Duration: 4 hours

The Hermitage Museum possesses one of the largest collections in the world (about 3 million exhibits, including paintings, sculpture, jewelry, applied art, furniture, etc.). Collection was started by Russian Empress Catherine the Great in the middle of the 18th century. Nowadays it occupies 4 beautiful buildings along the Neva River.

Itinerary:

During this "classical" tour we will see the pearls of the collection:
1) State Rooms of the Winter Palace
2) Italian Renaissance (Works by Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Michelangelo, Caravaggio)
3) Spanish Art (Velasquez, Murillo, El Greco)
4) Dutch Art (Rembrandt)
5) Flemish Art (Rubens)
6) French Art (Impressionists, Van Gogh, Matisse, Picasso)

If you are staying in the hotel near the Hermitage and do not need transportation or you wish to meet your guide directly at the entrance to the museum, please, let us know and we will recalculate the cost of the tour without transportation. And please, note, that Hermitage is closed on Mondays.
